I have just finished reading "The ice man, confessions of a mafia contract killer" by Philip Carlo. Now i know there are hundreds of books about the mafia, but this one is more about an individual. Do any of you know of any more books in the same vein. Please let me know if you do, thanks :)

Not about the mafia, but 'Confessions of a Yakuza' is probably the best true-crime book I've ever read.

A nice slice of underworld and overworld history as seen through the eyes of one Japanese crime boss.

This one is also excellent, The Napolean of Crime, about Adam Worth, a 19th century master criminal, and said to be the inspiration for Arthur Conan Doyle's 'Moriarty'.

An amazing story.
