Arrived at the queue of the gig about 5. 5pm. Far too late. I thought it was all over, and yet here I am sitting about 10m from the stage. These French know how to organise a concert

Was a great setup in fairness, festival vibe to around the place.
Not a fan of the new stuff but was great to hear the old stuff.

Was standing just behind the rear fire cannon. They only started using it towards the end of the gig, was amazing the first time it came on out of nowhere.

Flying out to London on Friday, really psyched for it myself now, have given the new album a few listens and it's pretty solid so will look forward to hearing a few of those tracks too. Already planning on getting tickets for Berlin in 2020 on Friday morning!

    Codes are individualised not generic.

Prices confirmed as £83.00 - £99.00 plus fees.

Thats very expensive for a field in Belfast.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,197 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Not that much difference in ticket price though, makes the pit tickets a no brainer.

    But it's a Rammstein show...not Nickelback :D

They have 30+ trucks driving that gigantic stage around which has to be set up and dismantled plus the band's fee for playing plus insurance plus crew plus venue rental.

Anyone have a link to the pricing and ticket options? Had a google couldnt find any. Is there seating and pitch standing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 851 ✭✭✭vintagecosmos

Got my tickets for Belfast. No hassle at all compared to trying to buy tickets last year.

Standing is 91.30 Sterling + 15 quid delivery to Ireland. Pit tickets were 108.90 sterling.

For the craic and to see if there was more available I tried using my code again but since I had my fill of 6, the code isn't being accepted which I expected anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 851 ✭✭✭vintagecosmos

I tired too to see if I could maybe do Berlin. Code worked but there is a big disclaimer that they have the right to cancel all your tickets if system is abused so I wouldn't risk it.

Don't suppose anyone has a presale code they're not gonna use?

Those codes are personalized to LIFAD members' accounts along with their member ID.

Maybe not a good idea to use someone else's.

For 15 squids I'd want Till himself to rock up with the tickets! :)

But is it free to collect them at the box office or present on your phone in the ticket master app?

It is but with the pre-sale it was with Eventim in the UK therefore no app from what I know and there's no way in hell I'm chancing box office :D

Yeah but taking this in the view of what was said about tickets not being delivered internationally, despite being charged for same.

As in if you got them digitally or collected at the box office you're still charged???

Yeah one of the lads was saying a few pages back, that he had no other option but to click first class 'international delivery', but that the tickets never came and he had to collect ay the box office anyway.

I'm with you now. Hopefully that's not going to be the way here. Different ticket company though wasn't it? IIRC it was Ticketmaster in the UK that did that.

Yeah but it will be TM that the rest of us will be buying from on Friday.

Ticketmaster.ie have the gig on their site. That should make a difference with getting tickets either on your phone or physically without any hassle.

That was myself, pretty poor form really although they did actually refund me most of the cost, I got around €12 back from £13.50 and I didn't need to hound them for it, it was automatic.

Spot on, the gig is being promoted by Aiken so they are being primarily sold from the IE website therefore I'd say you'll have the normal delivery options, just the payment will be in Sterling.

The hard tickets themselves are a nice souvenir to have. I prefer them over the digital ones.

Same here. I have all my tickets back to my first gig which was Fear Factory in 2001. Got a digital one for Metallica and have nothing to add to the collection :(

I was begging people on street after Waldbuhne 2016 for a Rammstein ticket but no joy. They were so decorative. Beautiful.

It was 132.38 for a Feuerzone ticket and 2 with delivery came to 299. I printed mine for this summer and that's free, but wanted the tickets this time around. My bank account hates me, but it's worth it! :)

Can someone post the link for the pre-sale, I can't access the email with the link in it at the moment?

** EDIT ** Nevermind, got sorted. Feuerzone, here we come!!

I made it €125.00 all in at the exchange rate it was right after I completed the order for the Feuerzone tickets

    £668.85 / 6 = £111.48 @ 0.89184 = €125.00

check out AirBnB if you are staying up. I got a house for 6 only down the road from the stadium for less than €200. lot of stuff already booking up.

The Paris gig was amazing in the end! The only issue was the sound during parts, it was as if they had the bass up and the vocals down. Apparently it is a common issue with the venue.

So, for Belfast, do we know how large (deep) the Feuerzone is? At the Paris gig, we got about four people from the front, which was amazing but you do lose the ability to see a lot such as the boat ride to the middle stage etc. Therefore, being further back really isn't much of an issue.

Looking at dates, I would also take it as a given that they are playing Download too.

Think they were about 118 or so. Could be worse, Zürich were about 178CHF, that's about 160 euro!

If you've mates in Germany or Netherlands etc best you get tickets sent there if you want to save over 30 quid, last time I got tickets I did that as no other option was given anyway.

I've been honored with purchasing six tickets and have another asking me to pick them up one (limit of 6 though)

Revolut all the way :) be careful going for that extra ticket. When I was buying in 2016 i needed a new account and credit card to buy for a friend.
