Tickets for their concerts in Germany, Luxembourg and Austria on the Made in Germany tour went on sale today or yesterday and each one of them is sold out!

    See here: http://www.rammstein.de/tour2011/index.en.html

I'm not saying this will be the case for the o2 but it's bloody impressive!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 565 ✭✭✭bigwormbundoran

I never thought id see the day that they would adorn the various rags in the form of full page advertisements for the gig, tis a strange sight now I must say :D

Not surprising though considering that Germany and Austria is their biggest fanbase.Every album they have released since 1997 has gone straight to number one in those countries.

If guns n roses and Iron maiden, who would have a much wider appeal in Ireland than Rammstein can't sell out the o2, than i don't think Rammstein would either.

Great as they both are, it goes without saying that neither of those bands was at the top of their game when they came to Ireland, definitely not Guns n Roses anyway...

Rammstein on the other hand have been on the up and up non-stop since they formed... They're in their prime and now (as it always has been) is the best time to see them!

Im taking some time off work and gonna try order from ticketmaster.
But ive never ordered from ticketmaster before.
Im assuming I just wait on this page and spam F5 until the option to purchase comes up?
I have my account made and cc details entered.

Yeah, on the day for sure, but not in the morning. I don't think its something you need to take time off work to get a ticket for.

Anyway regardless, i'l be checking them out in Vienna as i'm moving there in the next months :). I'll miss the Irish craic but i'm hoping the crowd will be great!

do NOT spam F5 or keep refreshing, maybe a couple of times just as it hits 09:00, if you do it too much ticketmaster has some shiit in place that will ban your IP for 10 mins or so, many have been stung by this

I really don't know about this. I know that I am going to be completely snowed under by college work by the time that the concert comes around, but this has the potential to be one hell of a show. And I would have to leave the decision making until half an hour before tickets go on sale .

I'm behind ya in row 30.
If someone slaps the head off ya for standing, that'll be me.

Two degenerated slipped discs in lower back means standing for long periods of time is out of the question.
I hope you feel suitably mean now.

Ticket purchased for the standing area. A complete rip off price wise yet I still paid it :(

I would be kicking myself for missing it though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,959 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

Went down to centra and bought mine, €2 fee instead of 6.50

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,642 ✭✭✭✭wolfmoon87

And if you buy them in Sound Cellar it's only €1 fee. Ticketmaster are f**kers with their fees.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,451 ✭✭✭blastman

    The one in Swords does.

I think the Centra in temple bar beside the ha'penny bridge sells ticketmaster tickets.

I will have to check out my local Centras. Could prove to be handy for future purchases.

This shows where all the Ticketmaster outlets in Ireland are.

Got two tickets for the London show this morning. :D

Was really annoying though because we got 2 standing tickets, then had trouble with the laser card and had to go get a credit card. Took a couple of minutes to log back on and all the standing tickets were gone. :(

Oh well. It's still gonna be awesome! :D
