I would imagine yes she is.If breaking the front teeth they will replace them first five i believe others they will fill or cap.
I think someone said you only are entitled to three filling a year now though. So i would imagine your best bet is ring your dentist tell them circumstances and they will be able to give you all the information you need.

I have TMJ/TMJD. I was diagnosed with it a few months ago when I went to a dentist for a regualr checkup (I paid for the chekcup and xray even though I have a med card, €50. Medical acard didn't cover it) If her front teeth are breaking she needs to get in touch with her dentist or any dentist in fact and ask what's what - what is covered, as far as I know they can do work on the front teeth but not on the side/back teeth. By that I mean you can have 2 free fillings a year and one checkup and that's it as far as I know.

She needs to contact the dental section of the HSE nad ask for more advice. I am currently on a waiting list to see a specialist, could be waiting upto a year. Have developed tinnitus from it, constant 24/7. If your gf has this (tinnitus) she needs to go to her doc and ask for something called Amytriptyline - it's originally an anti depressant but has a secondary off label use, that is to try and calm down tinnitus - not sure if it works to be honest, it may take months for it to fully kick in.

You gf can also go to her doc and mention TMJ because TMJ spans both dentistry and medicine. She may need a mouthguard, to stop the teeth meeting and crunching (it's called bruxism) She will have to pay for this unless she is referred to a specilaist and they see her and then say she needs one, then the HSE will cover the cost. She needs to contact the dental dept at the HSE in the area you live in and take it from there. Hope it works out ok for her.
