    So,

I appear to be losing some stations around 6-7pm every night but they appear to be operating fine earlier in the day.

I assume this is to do with the earths axis, Anyone have similar issues would i be correct in my assumption

C4 +1, E4 E4+1 i think thats the jist of the loss. But as said they work fine up until this time of the day and are pretty much lost all night.

Seems to be a Cordless dect phone or BB modem problem. Are any of these devices in the same room as your satellite system

The Earths Axis could have nothing to do with it as the Satellite is in a geo stationary position and is always in the correct position. Not sure why your channels go must be a fault somewhere is it rain.??

I have no cordless phone, and no broadband. Closest BB modem would be in the apartment downstairs. Dont think it would be close enough.

I read that the axis goes is a figure of 8 position, and ideally we need to be situated closest to the centre of this figure of 8 as it shifts throughout the rotation. just wondering could this be the issue.

Are you using a shared Dish in your Building. If so ask some of your Neighbours are they losing channels.
Also ask the person in the apartment downstairs would they mind plugging out BB and phone when your picture disappears.
    Process of Elimination

I found that if you add them manually to other channels and watch them there they work ok. Different frequency than is used with sky digital

are some programs on c4 , e4 , etc still bound by regional restrictions so they will go off for certain programs. they used to be so it may explain your problem. fish fingers is right in that if you add them manually you can work around this

This would just apply to a sky box.
