    Hi i have this kalash dboys ak74 and the piston seems to be blown(theres a hole in it) just asking if anyone knows of a way to repair it?

    Short answer no, why would you want to repair it you can get a replacement piston for €10, but as long as it has not damaged the teeth on the piston it may well be OK as is

    I have never seen a piston with a hole in it, I have seen pistons with several holes in them as a means of reducing the weight of the piston for a high speed setup

    I have seen a few piston heads damaged when the cylinder was drilled as a means of downgrading the AEG

    Do you mean the piston head (the front part) ? Chances are it was downgraded by drilling it.

    Sorry about that meant to say piston head but i guess maybe that isnt whats wrong.:confused:

    If there is a hole in the piston head, chances are it was drilled.

    is it on the piston or the shell if it is on the shell on aks there always there

    yup, is the hole on the brass outer part? or is there a rough hole on that?

    rough hole on piston or cylinder: drilled, by which, you will need a new x, PLUS a lower fps spring, because the chump that did it got lazy (if they drilled)
