    I see one of these has been installed across from deeveys, (there may be more, this was the only one ive seen so far) and it got me thinking has anyone in waterford got an electric car? wonder will it catch on?

    You mean this one? It was put on first week of November.

    And two weeks in December i've spotted ESB Mitsubishi iMiEV around Gracedue - Hillview area (must be one of the fleet of 16 brough here for tests)

    Delivery of first Nissan Leafs (100% EV) to UK and Irish customers is expected in March.
    First batch of 67 arrived The Port of Tyne on 3rd February onboard City of St. Petersburg, Nissans new energy-saving car carrier, who completed her maiden voyage from Japan.

    I'll be more than happy to take one if there anyone to pay for her.
    Short of €30K is too much for a car struggling to drive me straight to Dublin :(
