Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies if this is not the right place. I'm not sure if this is more a social networking, thing, or photography, but I'm leaning towards the latter, as I'm only interested in Photos and Vids. No chat. I'm getting a bit frustrated with Picasa, videos rarely work and I just don't like the Picasa application. Don't really want to put things up on Facebook, and Pixie doesn't do vids. Dropbox is an alternative, because it allows people to download the originals, which is fine for this. Its a little bit clunky for the less technical though. Handy for dropping straight to someones iPad or similar.

Just wondering what other people use.

flickr for me. It also does videos - but think they can only be 60 seconds or so.
vimeo.com is the video equivalent of flickr

As my northern friend has said most people if not using Pix.ie use Flickr. The downside is the short length video files are allowed be so other than that Vimeo.

I have to say that Dropbox is excellent and works across windows and mac. I share a folder with someone that is quite poor at using a computer but they love dropbox and have picked it up so quickly.
