Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering how I transfer my Microsoft Office Programs(Word, Excel, Powerpoint) manually when upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista?

Do I need my installation cds(and the code) again?

Can I save them to my ext hd and re install with no problem?

If your just upgrading from vista to 7 then there is no need to do anything.

If you are doing a clean install then you would need the discs and cd key.

Upgrade-Install: You dont need to move files, folders, programs - they are all carried over.

Clean-Install: You need to backup your files and in most cases be ready to re-install your programs from .exe's and everything else, with serial keys, etc.

    See this table: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Standard_upgrade_editions

You also need a clean install if youre going from between 32-bit and 64-bit.
