    Probably won't make it to europe since it was never rated. Xenogears is an interesting game but not a great one. The plot is complicated but cribs and downright steals from a lot of sci-fi. When it's good it's brilliant, when it's bad it's stupid and cliche. It steals even more from Evangelion than FFVII. The attempts to use religious imagery like evangelion does is even more retarded and cack handed than FFVII, at one point there's a crucifiction scene where they crucify a giant teddy bear. It does break some new ground for JRPGs with relationships between characters being realistic and they actually sleep together. The battle system is weird and can be good but can also be a chore. Also be warned the second disc consists of 20 hours of the two main characters sitting in chairs telling you what happens in the story because they ran out of budget and the team was pulled off the project to get FFVII out the door. It's like the last two episodes of evangelion except even less interesting.

    It's an experience and should be played if you like JRPGs. It's definitely interesting but don't expect to enjoy it the whole what through.

    Set up a US PSN account get some US PSN points and bobs your uncle.

    set up a new PSN ID and set your region to america. put in the white house as your address and use it's postal code. Then just get the US PSN points from ebay.

    Just wondering if I managed to get a ntsc disc copy would it work on the ps3?

    Not unless you have a US PS3.

    You should be buying your PS1 games from the US store anyway since they are superior versions that run at full speed without borders. Xenogears definitely won't get a european release since it never got a crappy PAL port and Sony only release the PAL versions here despite them being awful.
