    Hi,
We're taking part in a set dancing competition and are wondering if anyone knew of a place to buy suitable and cheap dresses for the four ladies.
    Thanks

For Scór, many female set dancers wear a skirt and white blouse, the men wear black trousers, white shirt and a tie to match the skirt colour. If you are representing say, Cork, red skirts etc would be good.

    Thanks for that.
The lads are wearing black shirts and black trousers. At the moment were thinking purple ties with us wearing black dresses with a purple sash on the waist. Wed rather something with a bit of colour! Didnt think it would be so hard ot get dresses that arent so short!

If you've enough time you could try looking online. Something like this dress in black might be nice. You could just buy some purple material in Hickeys then and tie it around the waist.

H&M also have a similar plain black dress at the moment for around €12. :)
