Social clubs in Portlaoise?

    Hey,

    I'm newish to the area and want to get out and about to meet locals by getting into some sort of a social club. Im in my late 20s and a fairly active lad. Not a footballer/hurler and a bit late in the day to be starting rugby so any suggestions?

    Have you ever tried Kickboxing? There's a class on tonight @8. It's great fun, you meet meet people and get fit! :)

    Where abouts is it on? I would prob go for the training more so than anything competive is that possible?

    Same here, I do it for the training, but we do sparring aswell (optional!)

    Ok, getting a few PMS about this. Hope this is ok mods:

    Start time is 8pm.

    Monday = St Marys Hall / Portlaoise.
    Tuesday & Friday = Mountlellick (Opp Bank of Ireland in the main street).

    But no training tonight because of the election.
