Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Requirements

    Budget €6,500

    Diesel (2.0L Max)
    OR
    Petrol (1.8L Max)

    Mileage - would like low mileage but not a dealbreaker

    ISOFIX

    Decent size saloon / hatchback.

    Currently looking at Mazda 6 / Mondeo / Octavia and have spent last couple of weeks trawling through donedeal / carzone and garages with no joy.

    Any other cars in this class that I should be looking at?

    Hi Dools,

    I have a Skoda Octavia 2006 1.6l mpi petrol Elegance estate I am selling for €6250. It has fresh NCT this week and 51kmls. It has Isofix fixings. It is in excelelnt condition and I recemmend it very highly as they give no trouble, the only reason I am selling it is I want a 7 seater.

    Mmmmm, might take a look, was looking to stay away from the petrol engine in the Skoda as I have been warned off it from a few users on here. Have you a link to the car online. PM me if you wish.

    Any other ideas???

    The 1.4 75hp engine is dirt, that's what most petrol Octavias have.
    The 1.6 fsi engine is quite good.

    i have that 1.6mpi engine and have been very happy with it. reliable if nothing else.
