Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have received a laptop charger with an interchangeable head, so that it can fit into different laptops. However the one that is on it is not a dell sized one, I was wondering could you get these heads anywhere in dublin?

like these! but for a dell laptop :p

maplin ones didnt fit, either it wasn't a 2-pin one with the right head, or it was the right head with the wrong connection. :/

What is the make of the adapter, I have a universal trust adapter and the website claims they will send out a tip its not included free of charge.

Post the make and model number and I will see if I can help you.

Sorry I meant the model number of the universal adapter that you have.

yeah the heads aren't generally interchangeable between different universal chargers, you'll likely need to find the exact same universal charger to find heads that will fit your one, which won't solve the problem really...

Oh right, I'll check that when I get home later on thanks, it has a two pin head which seems to be fairly universal, ie all the ones in maplin fit into the charger, they jsut were not for this laptop

I wouldn't use a generic power adapter on a dell unless it's something high quality like an iGo.

ugh, manhattan fail. and i'm actually fairly sure they don't have a dell compatible head, i used to use several universal chargers in a computer repair shop, and from what i can remember i had to use the belkin charger for the dells, which was annoying as there was only one belkin charger and every second repair was a dell!

this is the one i use http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Universal-Laptop-Power-Adapter/dp/B00373TWRO
