On St Patrick's day Aware is holding our annual Harbour 2 Harbour walk, from Howth to Dun Laoghaire or Dun Laoghaire to Howth, as a way to raise much needed funds.

As Patrick's day now seems to be synonymous with drinking and pubs we feel this event would be a great way for families and people that want an alternative to the booze fest to enjoy the day that is in it and raise some money for a good cause.

The theme of the event will be 'The look of the Irish' and participants will be given the option to dress up in ways they feel encapsulates Ireland.

The event will start at 10.30 on Thursday the 17th of March.
