I very much doubt it. It's only a qualifier and we haven't even got down to the wire yet so I'd say it'll be a case of take a wander off to the nearest pub if you want to watch it - the Hilton is nearby and I'm sure you'd find it on in there somewhere.

It used to be Tyondai Braxton but since he's left I don't know.

Anyone who saw them at Primavera know?

ps, weather looks good for the weekend, dry and warm(ish) !!!

according to the below link, for the new songs, they're just playing the vocals over the tracks, doesn't mention the older songs though...

They play(ed) as a three piece now. No vocals (thus no ATLAS et al). Still good but not what they were IMO

Well when FLIPs clashed with Kraftwerk back in EP 2005 they covered Radioactivity. I bet if they clash with the match they'll stick together an impromptu 5 a side between their stage mascots with Wayne Coyne in the big plastic sphere as the ball to make up for it.

The person on the FF Facebook page says they want to show it and are looking into it. KO is 8:30 though and The Lips are on at 9:15. Would be nice to see even the first half hour, I guess.

Just a three piece at Prima, no live vocals to speak of. Really let down by them, while i did miss the start of their set, the end didn't do them justice. Also no big Atlas finish, more a disjointed ramble...

Final preparations are under way ahead of Dublin’s first multi-staged music festival taking place this weekend on the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Kilmainham.

Acts such as The Flaming Lips, Wild Beasts, Erol Alkan and Jape will play in four different performance areas at the inaugural Bulmers’ Forbidden Fruit Festival.

Organisers have planned for some 9,000 people to attend the two day event, with a spokeswoman for Bulmers saying that tickets were almost sold out.

As well as showcasing music, Forbidden Fruit will offer fashion and art shows including ‘Draw with Don’ sessions featuring Don Conroy.

Facilities on site will include three tented stages, a main stage, a central bar (all named after Bulmers products), graffiti canvasses and food stalls.

Despite the compact space, organisers are confident that the apple shaped site will accommodate the crowd along with the multiple acts without any problems.

"Every music festival has a bit of spill but I think we’ll be fine” said site manager Robbie Butler today while giving members of the media a tour of the grounds.

"The different stages will play out onto different areas. After that it is up to the management on the day, there will be some balancing. If there is a sensitive act on the main stage then that might need to be taken account of," he said.

The first music act gets under way on Saturday at 2.15pm as Colourmusic take to the main stage with the last act, The Flaming Lips, finishing proceedings eight and a half hours later.

On Sunday, the first act will take to the stage at the slightly earlier time of 2pm but will run again until 10.45pm.

In an effort to make the festival more accessible, Bulmers will be running a shuttle service for free throughout the weekend between the festival site and Dublin city centre.

The 64 seater, vintage London style bus will collect festival goers from Georges Quay with a return run going to Eden Quay via POD on Harcourt Street.

Day tickets for the festival are €49.50 while a weekend ticket is priced at €90. Details can be found at www.forbiddenfruits.ie

    http://www.hotpress.com/Caribou/news/Caribou-DJ-set-at-The-Button-Factory/7926575.html
The June Bank Holiday weekend continues to gather more buzz with the news that Caribou will perform twice in Dublin on the same day. Primed and ready to blow the crowd away at the Forbidden Fruit Festival in IMMA on Sunday June 5, the Canadian outfit will return to The Button Factory later that night for an exclusive DJ set.

    Good news, but....
Admission is €8 or €5 with a Forbidden Fruit Festival wristband. Tickets are also available from www.tickets.ie/umack. Doors open at 11pm.

The venue will probably be filled pretty quick.

Good to see Forbidden Fruit haven't ignored the often-overlooked pointing aspect of the festival.

Someone speculated above, it seems to be sponsored by Bulmers so it might be only thing they will sell
