Low flying aircraft type noise over Balbriggan last night?

Around 10pm, there was a very loud plane type noise over Balbriggan. It sounded like it was flying very low. It woke me from my sleep, and I never looked outside. Anyone know what it might have been?

I was out cycling at that time, probably around Ardgillan and didn't notice anything particularly loud. It was very still - hardly any wind, which may have increased the overall noise level, rather than dissipating it - I suspect it was just normal Dublin airport traffic.

Heard it myself up around flemington area. Was nearly waiting to hear a bang it sounded so low.
