Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A lot of new SLRs shoot full HD now but it would be a waste of money and a camera to use it just for shooting Youtube videos. You probably need a half decent HD camcorder.

Perhaps try in the Audio and Video Editing Forum.

I've been looking for something similar recently too! Just a pocket sized video camera that's better quality than I have on my phone really. I've been looking at those Flip cameras, they look pretty reasonably priced. I've heard good things about the Sony Bloggie mobile cameras though, and they can record in HD video. Not really sure if I need that though? Especially once video gets uploaded to YouTube it downgrades in quality anyway.

the quality on most of those cheap ones is cráp, id steer clear. the video may be large alright but it looks terrible in anything other than ideal light. id look at some of the lumix range of hd compatible compact cameras. video clarity is really nice on those and the prices aren't mental either.
