Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi all, wifes car needs a new battery we think.... basically it will sometimes be dead when we come out in the morning to start it... its happened 3 times in the last month, so we're presuming its the battery as it starts up fine once it gets a jump.... just wondering the best (value) place to get a replacement fitted in the blanch area.... could go to halfords but they're prob a rip off.... ubless it could be something else that anyone could suggest?
    thanks a million

How old is the current batter? It may well be the battery, but there could be another issue with the car. The battery will only be about €50, so if the old one is > 3 years old, pop a new one in.

As regards places who will fit, I'm sure most of the exhaust places will do this, you could give a ring around and see how much they charge.

I would just go to the likes of finglas auto parts and get a battery, they are very easy to change.
