Can hardly blame the CL on this one, 7 days break.

And we've played 8 CL games this season, the games after we've won 4 and drawn two, so ya, stupid enough comment all round.

It's hard to judge exactly how the Champions League is affecting the squad to be honest. They have added to the squad this season, so that helps in the battle against fatigue, but I wouldn't underestimate the toll that Europe can take.

I get that, but Ordinary Man seems to have sort of irrational hatred towards us in general. Might be because of that gowl BERBA, he's turned well over half of Boards against us, and I'm sure yeh saw the match thread today, plenty of people were more than happy to take a shot at us when we were losing. Before he joined plenty of people liked Spurs, and most poeple that don't post on Boards do.

FU BERBA. I'd just like to get that out there. You've single-handedly ruined the SF for the rest of us Spurs fans. Hopefully you'll get banned soon...

In fairness, I think Spurs only get a slagging when Berba is around, I certainly don't mind them.

Funnily enough (being an Arsenal fan), I never had a dislike of Spurs before I came across him.

They used to be one of my favourite teams, but I just love seeing them lose because of BERBA. I can't wait until they're playing Thursday night football next season.

Was Adams involved in the third goal?

Nope that young winger created it ran from the halfway line to the 6 yard box nearly, asasaososoososososokoto knocked off him into Omerods path, stupid defending tbh.

Adam is my player of the year, no idea when someone from outside the top 4 last won it. le Tissier?

Ginola last one to win it after finishing outside of the top 4

    David Ginola in 1998/1999.

    Well played :D

    Quick Wiki

He is still the only player in Premiership history to have won the award while at a club who finished the season outside of the top 4.

Le tissier never won it

I'd love to see Blackpool vs AC Milan. People in Europe that don't watch the Premier league must think Spurs are a great team.

No, he won the Players' Young Player of the Year Award in 1989/1990 though.

Yeah checked his best season was 94/95 and Shearer won it that year.

Shame really, Adam should win it and if rumours man utd bought him/agreed to buy him at end of season he has it in the bag next season :)

Berba has been winding up ppl all over the soccer forum for ages. You can be sure as soon as liverpool lose, he'll be over on the wind up.

But no need for what you said. It probably it wont be tolerated and you could get yourself banned over a wind up merchant. Just put him on ignore if you dont like what he has to say

What about the contstant efforts by Berba to wind up other members of the forum, he has single handedly caused a level of alienation of Spurs fans on this board and he continues to attempt to garner reaction day after day after day, he is a Internet Forum Dunphy without the knowledge or comedy factor.

I've seen a level of pompousness spread among Spurs supporters in the last year or so which has made it very hard to wish them well in the Champions League this season. Not all them of course and I do enjoy watching them do well because I like the team, but I also love watching them get torn apart on occasion, so my Facebook is that bit quieter when Liverpool don't do the business.
