Fire is the rapid oxidation of a material in the chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products.

Are you suggesting the fire was caused by the recession?

    Please explain, I'm intrigued.

It wouldn't be unusual for only one room to be on fire.

To be fair it's a well known fact that during a recession hotel rooms tend to heat up without warning and in some instances burst in to flames. I'm going to go out on the limb here and say this is DEFINITELY what happened here.

There is only one room that has the windows and frame completly blown out and is covered with soot, the other rooms are spotless so something seriously blew up in there.

    This is true......

I just drove by the the Tara Towers Hotel about 10 mins ago..Look like a fire broke out on the 2nd or 3rd floors of the hotel....only had time to give a quick glance....appears it may have been an explosion of some sort, but can't be certain.

I'll sort this out, I have the power, due to a vague accident as a teenager when I was bitten by a radioactive Salamander I have become immune to the flames...

    I can... I can....

    I CAN TOUCH THE FIRE!

Sure, that's the official story. Now we want the truth.

More seriously though, hopefully everyone is okay. I figured something was up, I've been hearing sirens all morning in Dublin city centre.

Good forensic analysis there. Your talents are wasted.

Yeah really! The bed was on fire in the room and spread to all the room contents. The room is completely gutted and the hotel smoke damaged. We had it out in 15 min. Not bad!
