Any non-ipod MP3 player work with Mac?

Have a creative zen that's close to giving up, but it doesn't work with my macbook. Is there any other MP3 player brand that will? Am hoping to stay away from the ipod if possible. Cheers

just to note Apple proprietary music formats .aac or .m4p are not supported so it depends what format your music is in. You'll need to convert any of these to .mp3, the universal audio format.

use xnjb for mac with the zen player. works fine with mine, probably easier to use than the creative software too.
