Hard wearing lan cable plug search.

I along with my son use our laptops with lan cables everyday. When we are finished the the lan cables are plugged out and the laptops are packed away.

Over time the retaining clip that holds the lan cable to the laptop socket breaks off. Dose a lan cable plug exist that is less prone to breakage?

Yeah thats the less durable of the two try the first one with the full boot it's pulling the cable out of the laptop bag and snagging the clip does the damage rather than plugging them in and out.

I second that, no need for wires with wifi unless you don't want to use wifi due to hacking or 'health' concerns
