    Hi just wondering does joining the garda reserve effect your social welfare claim??

    not in the slightest

    its an unpaid voluntary arm of an garda siochana

    the once off yearly allowance doesnt not effect your weekly Social Welfare allowance, or childrens allowance, or widowns pension or clothing allowance or any allowance
