Eircom NGB advanced Netopia Router issue

Ever since I went from NGB standard to advanced my Netopia 2247NWG will not connect properly to the internet. It can take at least ten minutes of cycling the power on and off, and going into the router's menu to hit reconnect before I can find a stable connection. Ever since I went from NGB standard to advanced my Netopia 2247NWG will not connect properly to the internet. It can take at least ten minutes of cycling the power on and off, and going into the router's menu to hit reconnect before I can find a stable connection. Eircom say my line is working fine but they're not much help. I tried my old IOL Zyxel Prestige 623R-T1 router and it connected on the first try. Unfortunately that router doesn't suit my needs. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there something I can do in the Netopia menu to fix the problem?
