In 2008 Spurs gave Southampton £2m and Tommy Forecast for the 25% sell on clause in Gareth Bale's contract. As of last night Tommy Forecast has become Southampton's record signing at £21.5m. Unfortunately, Tommy was not good enough to ever make an appearance for Southampton's first-team. Southampton got Levy'd!!

Not that we have broken even ins and outs.....should we just say fcuk it and throw 40+ at chelski for mata.........he's the type of player we need to unlock the door. That saying though ..they prob wouldn't sell to us at any price.

Rumours of Defoe out on loan to WBA or WHU? Doubt he'd be interested in a loan deal....

Pretty quiet everywhere else, a few rumours of Hulk and Coentrao on loan but all twitter gossip as far as I'm concerned.

Butter fingers is hardly on 50k a week ... In all honestu dont know what club would come in for him ?? Wouldnt mind seeing the back of Ade too .. he's probably on double to butter fingers !!! What a name ..

Yeah I think Gomes is pretty well paid, at this stage he's just an overpaid companion for our Brazilians.:o

In other news, Sky Italy: Double capture incoming for Queen Park Rangers. The British club has reached an agreement with Tottenham for the double loan of Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Tom Carroll.

BAE only has a year left so this would effectively end his time with Spurs. Carroll would be guaranteed games and stays in London. Could be some truth in it...
