    http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2013/05/11/3970222/-?

He's been talked about alot and earlier in the season I believe he's quoted in saying he'll leave this summer if he wins the league. Would be an excellent signing. I'd prefer him to someone like Pjanic.

Would rather see us move for McManaman, McCarthy is good but is he top 4 good? Or EPL title winning good?

Benteke is a difficult one for me. I'm not sure I'd like to see 20m pound plus being spent on him. Afterall, he has only had one season in the Premier League. Not denying his ability but it's a risk, but less of a risk than Damiao for sure.

McCarthy came out of nowhere the last few days. Is he really an upgrade? He was probably man of the match against us a few weeks ago but I'm not so sure he's what we need.

Can anyone tell me where he'd fit in?

Also Son Heung Min has been talked about alot in the media since December.

But as a replacement for Bale? He's not that type of player...

    Gotta love The Mirror!

Reporter: So, Callum McManaman did you think you'd win the FA Cup when you first stepped out on to the pitch?

McManaman: Yeah I always believed we'd win

Reporter: And how does it feel now you have?

    McManaman: I can't believe it

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... He doesn't seem too bright!!

I'd have McCarthy. Lets be honest, I don't think our spending policy has changed much, we're never gonna spend the necessary wonga to buy a Yaya . With that in mind McCarthy would be an excellent example of ticking our boxes. Plenty of experience, still very young, obviously talented and won't cost 25 million. After saying all that, its the Sunday after and its the Mirror. Its probably as likely as me winning this year's Tour de France on a tricycle with a puncture.

Mccarty in place of Dempsey would improve us three fold.

Would people be interested in villa?

Quality player obviously but he's 31 now and never played in the premier league?

    nope

Difficult one. He's an excellent finisher, but he'd be expensive. He's better at putting the ball in the net than anything we currently have so if he was our only option I'd definitely take him over Defoe.

Would love him we were rumoured to be looking at him a few years ago when he hadn't quite clicked at Bayern he does have a lack of pace though would be my only worry.

I don't know. I'd sooner be in our position of playing a relegation threatened team than Arsenal going to Newcastle who have nothing to gain except mess up Arsenals season. Those teams often play out of their skin.

17 in 29 this season. 75 in 114 appearances. Not too bad for a guy lacking in pace!

I'm not sure we'd appeal to him if we finished 5th. Rumours circulated briefly last month.

Gomez is a donkey. Adebayor is a far better player.
