DynDNS with UPC Cisco Router not working

I have a DynDNS account which I would like to use with the UPC router.

I entered all my DynDNS account details in the DDNS page, but I keep getting an error and cannot use DynDNS service.

Is anyone else having issues with setting up DynDNS with this router?

Is there a better router which I can buy and use alongside with the phone service (I understand UPC won't support it, I'm fair enough with that).

I use a different router for my DynDNS, so i can't comment on that, however, if you buy your own router, and set the Cisco to Bridge Mode, then unfortunately you cannot use the phone service.

There is a megathread for this, btw...

DynDNS also have a free application that can run in the background of your PC or Server and update your IP. You can find it here
If your running Debian or Ubuntu you can get it in APT or Ubuntu market.
