I'm looking for some to apply to but what would be the best?
Also I've shown my mum some social care courses i'm interested in but she thinks I shouldn't do them because I'm 19 and she would rather see me do them as a mature student.

Was talking to my guidance teacher the last day and she said there is only like 5/6 places for PLC course in the country, just wondering if this is true?

You need to go and check the college prospectuses for the courses you'd eventually like to get into. Under 'entry requirements', check what the FETAC requirements are. They should specify what particular modules you require to gain entry to the course. Then, you need to find a FETAC Level 5 course that includes these modules.
