Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sony blu-ray player not connecting to bbc iplayer

I've got a sony bdp s370 that won't connect to bbc iplayer. It connects to youtube and other sites but not to lovefilm or bbc iplayer. I've downloaded the upgrades and spoken to sony representatives on the help line who advise me to contact my broadband provider. I don't think the problem lies with the provider as I can connect to it on my laptop.
I don't particularly want to return it as I'm happy with it otherwise.
Is it because I'm in ROI or can anyone help me with this problem?

Masking your default IP / DNS from them ,via a uk proxy.
Some routers will allow you to do this but you will need to switch it on and off for RTE/TV3 "Player" etc

OK, I'll have a look at that over the weekend.

I have an S370 and I love it. One question though - should the RTE Player be showing up on my Home Screen or am I missing something?

I've got full internet connection - youtube etc.

    Thanks

RTE Player is not available on the Sony Blu-Ray players. It is only available through the Playstations (as far as I know!). It is not on my S570 either!

Thanks Mister Gooey. Still a great little machine for the money though.
