If a person is putting in HRVS and looking at concrete floors, allowing you will probably have to bore big holes in the concrete for the ducting will the sound benefits of the concrete floors be negated?
Does this make it a poor choice of flooring if you want to have HRVS?
Is there a quiter alternative? and yes we want UFH.
It would probably be easier with joists but we are worried about sound.
Is there anyone that done Hrvs with concrete floors?

No it does not negate the sound benefits, footsteps, doors closing etc. wont travel down the duct unless hitting directly off duct, the biggest risk of noise breaking into your HRV duct is a water pipe or sewage pipe touching the duct, causing vibration so have your duct work installed before and clear of other services.
HRV is not necessarily easier with regular joists anyway in many cases people have to go with webbed joists, and with UFH you'd prob have joists closer together increasing cost, if you have the head height to allow for a decent dropped ceiling on ground floor there is no problem with conc slab.
There are units out there that can handle your size of house with one unit
