What car?

Ok the wife has a BA Falcon XT on gas for about a year it bloody shakes and shudders at 80 to 100. After a few trips to the garage it is on its final warning. It looks like next weekend is car shopping time. Not happy as that is not in the budget at all. I do have the option of giving her my Falcon and getting myself a new car. So here is the question what car. I would like a dual cab ute like the holden Rodeo for under the 15 mark. Oh and not the great wall. Any ideas?

Cheers Mahatma, never considered trading post was stuck on carsales

The first one there is by far the winner , sadly I love the new version of the Prado so if I got that one I would always think its not the new one.

Now the Rodeo fits the bill exactly but I hear horror stories on the fuel consumption on them. Plus its not a 4wd , its hard enough to find the 4wd rodeo

Seriously, Buy the BMW. few of my ffriends have them, they are amazing to drive, Your falcon will feel like its made of concrete.

The 525 is a better bet than the 535 on Fuel economy, I have a 535 and It has a bigger drinking problem than me

course if you Find a 540 somewhere then buy that, who dosent love a V8

Stay well clear of them, I have one a month now and it is savage expensive to run - i'll be ditching it by the end of the year i'd say.
