    could somebody please tell me how to disable them..when i get up in the mornings i always have a load of them to delete which is getting a tad annoying..they are not the normal ones they are the" this forum has 2 new updates and that forum has 4 new updates"

    You get the mails when you are 'following' a particular forum and have chosen the option for it to send you mail notifications. When you are viewing the forum itself that this is happening for, the button to follow/unfollow is just to the left of the page numbers for the forum.
