Music Modulation

    Hi.

    I got a melody to do for midterm. It's in C major but I can't remember what key to modulate to? :confused:

    You modulate to Gmaj I'm pretty sure.

    Yeah, for leaving cert you always try to modulate to the dominant.
    So you write out the C major scale:
    C D E FGA B C
    d r m f s l t d

    soh is the dominant = G
    which in C major is the root of the chord G major
    So G major
