    Hi,

Im unemployed at the moment and looking to do some volunteer work somewhere in North Dublin. I would be interested in maybe working in a youth club or working with kids maybe doing some kind of arts/craft work if thats out there. Ive looked on a few of the volunteer websites but I havent come across anything with that description. Any help or advice would be great :)

Also I was thinking of volunteering in one of the St Vincent de paul shops, can you just go in and ask are they looking for any volunteers or do you have to go about applying for it another way?

    Thanks in advance.

Foroige volunteer You have a number of different possibilities with them. Foroige map, click on Dublin
    Scouting
Going into the shop is probably a good idea anyway so you can talk to other volunteers and ask what is involved and whether there is a requirement for another volunteer. They can then point you in the direction to take if you want to volunteer.

Hi I recommend checking this list http://www.dublinpeople.com/content/view/4333/55/ and search the word "volunteer". There are several places looking for volunteers with girl guides.

You can also check on http://www.volunteerfingal.ie/volunteers/search-for-opportunities.html

Select your area and select childcare or youth/children. Theres lots of opportunities there.
