I can not find the post now, but I remember having a discussion with someone 3 months ago who was not sure wether to wait for ipad 2 or to buy an ipad 1 and sell it after.

At the time I raised the point that if he bought and ipad 1 (€500) to see in 3 months (€300, as the market dictates) then that would be equivalent to have "rented" and ipad 1 at €67 per month. Something that nobody in his right mind would do, specially in the current times.

€67 per month. That turn out to be the price of being unable to wait in this case.

    Why wouldn't you?

I done it with my 3G S because I needed to also done it with my iphone 4 which is factory unlocked and to tell you the truth, I reverted back after a week.

The only benefit I personally got from jailbreaking was SBSettings, but the major trade off for that was insane drops in battery performance. My iphone 4 battery went back to preforming like an iphone 3G S battery. it was just dire.

I do however miss SBSettings a lot, but the trade off in battery is not worth it.

Sound slike a restore from a backup. If you restore as a new phone the battery life goes back to normal.
