Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I had this player and thought it was rubbish.
Really slow to load disks and wouldn't play the newer titles like Alien Quadrology correctly. (Even after Firmware updates).
I returned mine in HMV before Christmas..STAY CLEAR.

Really mine played alien quad fine cept for aliens directors cut but theres a workaround for that,
Your right about the disk loading time though i also have a sony s570 and the difference is amazing.
But imo for the money its worth it.

Most electronics use more power during bootup, so when you go frm standby to active, the power required to fire everything up again

Though obviously it doesnt state the power consumption per unit of time
