I was somewhat joking.. but the more this story unfolds, I wouldn't be suprised in the slightest.

I think it's pretty obvious that a lot of this is put on, I said it to a friend when it all started that it would not surprise me to find Casey Affleck shooting his sequel or that Sheen was doing it simply to get out of his 2 and a Half Men contract.

    Very true..

.. but given his history with drug use, the initial interview could have been dismissed as the ramblings of a coked up fiend.

He looks like a goddamn zombie.

But the more we see of him, he's clearly thriving off the attention and seems clean..ish. Although not very much of sound, mind and body.

A source close to Charlie Sheen has suggested that he is purposefully trying to cultivate publicity with his wild behaviour.

The insider, who purports to have had a long-time relationship with the actor, insisted that Sheen is attempting to create a media frenzy.

"It feels like a big act," the source told E! Online. "Sure it's some sort of psychotic break, but it's also just plain narcissism bubbling up to the top. I have never seen him like this."

Despite Sheen's recent claim on NBC's Today Show that he's sober, the insider contended that the former Two and a Half Men star seemed under the influence of narcotics during his recent Sheen's Korner internet broadcasts.

It was announced this morning that Sheen has added more dates to his upcoming 'My Violent Torpedo Of Truth/Defeat Is Not An Option' tour.

obviously its all an act thats the funny part, people are being whipped into a hugh frenzy that charlie sheen is having a hugh breakdown,

this is a man who negotiated one of the biggest contracts ever in TV history, for playing a drunken buffoon,

and hes arranging tours, that are selling out, on top of the money hes gonna get off lorrie,

    legend:D

He's not going to make millions from a few live shows...

He's not guaranteed any money at all from his canceled tv contract...

hes guaranteed syndication money, which is worth millions, and according to his contract if they continue the show without him, hes still entitled to get money, might not be the full whack, but itll probably be an extra mill or 4 a season instead of his usual 40:D,

also they had no reason to shut down production, he was ready to film, and lorrie had a pop shot off sheen, before sheen had a shot off lorrie,

CBS wants Charlie Sheen back on its Two and a Half Men, and they want him back now, RadarOnline.com can is reporting exclusively.

The top exec at the Eye network is ready, willing, and able to forgive and forget all of Sheen's recent antics and continue broadcasting the series, with Sheen back in the starring role, a well-placed insider tells us.

According to our source, CBS President and CEO Les Moonves has been speaking directly with top execs at Warner Bros. Television -- the company that produces Men and also fired Sheen.

Moonves has also spoken directly to 'Men' co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre, who has been the target of Sheen's "violent hatred."

Moonves wants a solution that brings Sheen back to the show in a situation everyone can live with.

"Moonves told Chuck Lorre that he should 'let us handle Charlie'," the source says.

Lorre produces two other huge CBS hits, The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly. The prolific writer/producer also has several other projects in development for CBS.

"Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He's all for it," the insider adds. "He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie's done recently and just move on with the business at hand.

"The core issue is, as he put it, the volatile relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. He believes that if CBS and Warner Bros. TV honchos can find a way to get Chuck and Charlie to speak again, cooler heads will prevail."

Discussions about the possibility of bringing Charlie back to Two and a Half Men have been going on in earnest the last couple of days.

As RadarOnline.com has been reporting, the actor was fired earlier this month, with CBS and Warner Bros. TV issuing a statement that "Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services" for their hit sitcom.

Since then, in several exclusive interviews with RadarOnline.com, Sheen's spoken about his "winning" attitude, life with his "goddesses" and regularly referred to everyone connected with 'Men' as "trolls."

He also filed a $100 million lawsuit against Lorre and Warner Bros. TV.

Sheen is now taking his rant on the road, and has 20 concert dates planned, including one at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

It's unclear how far along CBS' Moonves is in convincing the powers at Warner Bros. TV to rehire Charlie or if he'd accept their offer if one is made.

    Definitely a publicity stunt.

Show starts stalling, running out of stories, viewing figures drop a couple of million.

Guarantee that Charlie Sheens first couple of shows back will create a huge buzz and interest and be Two and A Half Mens highest ever viewing figures.

    Job done.

i would understand if the show was lagging but weren't the ratings already through the roof?

i would understand if the show was lagging but weren't the ratings already through the roof?

Season 7 the ratings ranged between 13 and 17 million whereas this season (apart from the last couple of episodes) the ratings were between 13 and 14 million.

In related tv news, seems Mr. Sheen is truely living in a fantasy world, he keeps claiming megabucks tv deals but the networks keep debunking his claims:

Please note...NO network has actually picked up the show: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/07/18/charlie-sheen-to-star-in-new-sitcom-anger-management/98223/

    Anger Management, ?

Warlocks of the world, unite – your leader has a new job. Charlie Sheen is developing a pilot for the small screen: Anger Management, a sitcom based on the 2003 movie starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler.

"I chose Anger Management because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept," Sheen said in a statement.

The actor, who made headlines this spring for his drug-fueled antics, incoherent rants and subsequent firing from CBS' top comedy Two and Half Men, also "will retain a significant ownership stake in the series," according to the statement.

"It also provides me with real ownership in the series, a certain amount of creative control and the chance to be back in business with one of my favorite movie producers of all time, Joe Roth," Sheen says.

Sheen worked with Roth on the movies Major League, Young Guns and Three Musketeers.

Sheen's manager Mark Burg, whose production company is also producing Anger Management, said the deal came together like a dream. "We have been fielding numerous offers for Charlie since his departure from Two and a Half Men, but none were as creatively and financially compelling ... Anger Management."

Lionsgate's Debmar-Mercury will distribute the new series.

Wow!....fair dues to him, it's a complete 180from a year ago, giving a $1 million donation + 1% of his future tv earnings. It might be a PR stunt....but it's still a generous move!
