Where to get a long coat?

I have a long coat currently, but the style makes me look like a bit of a farmer. I want a fairly cheap long coat, doesn't have to be great quality but not a rag either. Where would be best to shop? I had a look in a few different places today, dunnes, pennys, the vintage shop, funky skunk etc. and didn't see any that…
