Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I burned a firm onto a DVD-R using my normal Windows system. I can view it on a PS3 but not on a stand-alone Panasonic DVD player or on a PS2. Any suggestions that doesn't involve paying for an application?

i'm taking it, its a download, downloaded video files come as DivX, Xvid or AVI (and others). If you burn this straight to a DVD-R, a PS3 can play these files, but a standard DVD player (and the PS2) cannot, they need to be encoded by a software package such as nero

Can anyone help. I have two DVD recorders, both connected to TVs- a Philips DVDR 3480 (3 years old ) and a Sony RDR GX3(8 years old). I bought some Tesco + rw discs and neither recorder would auto format these discs. Dodgy pack I thought. Got them replaced and the same thing happened. Sony machine says " cannot format disc" Philips machine says " insert recordable disc" Tried TDK +rw discs and the same thing happened. Both machines will happily record and erase continuously on previously formatted +rw discs. All i ever use is +Rw. They just won't accept new blank +rw discs. I have been recording regularly on both machines.
Have I worn them out simultaneously?
    Any advice very welcome!
