I would normally take them out evey now and again, but I hadent used the gun in about 6 months and only the other day i went to remove the choke with no joy. i had the exact same problem awhile back with the mossberg 500.im sure the post is still up somewhere.basically the choke hadnt been out of the gun for well over a year.hadnt a choke key but fisma helped me out and got me a choke key on his travels (very thankfull fisma).couldnt get the choke out at all at 1st but doused both ends of the barrel with wd40 and brunox gun spray for a week.when i eventualy went at it again the 1st few turns wer difficult but soon got it out.anyways try the wd40 and brunox for a week.and cheers again fisma
