Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

neighbour had this problem but it was cracked in a corner, he filled the corner with concrete 6inches thick or thereabouts and it worked perfectly

Hi, repaired a few troughs last year with a product called tek 7. It comes in a tube similar to silicone and you can get it in most hardware stores. One tip tho wear gloves its terrible stuff to take off your skin but it does the trick even on hairline cracks up the sides. Best of luck we lost 10 troughs this time. Replaced with plastic this time!!

The makers of tek 7 claim that it is so good it will set under water. I've used it to seal around a stainless steel chimney on my garage roof and its still there with no leaks. I'd put it on both the inside and outside of the crack - use the narrow point on the tube to put it in as far as possible.

its expensive stuff, but the best out there.

Most hardwares will have it. Woodies have their own brand of it - can't remember the name, but it has a 7 in it. Its not as good.

Throw it out and get a new one, the frost in the last two winters cracked loads of concrete troughs, I am a volunteer with a large GWS and spent weeks running around looking for leaking troughs after the frost so we could get water back to people instead of having it flow off down farmers fields. If you are metered and on a Co Council scheme it will be worth your while!!

am most certain that woodies stock tec 7. I gave 5 mins looking at a screen continuosly playing an ad for tec 7 and how it was used by salvage teams in the aftermath of an oil slick in Belgium .
There are a number of products in the range with the number 7 and the green and White packaging consistent across the range. For example there is a roof 7 for sticking felt and fascia and stuff. It's a very expensive brand.
