What would be the best type of 2nd hand pistol in 22lr and what price would you expect to pay for the pistol and 2 or 3 mags?

A previously unrestricted one, ie 5 round capacity mags.

That walther looks ok, not much experience of second prices here though, pistols only been around here 6 years or so.

Most guys who buy and licence hold on to theirs

Don't use American prices as a guide as over here things are much different

i saw one on an irish website but cant find it now,iam a member of a pistol club.
seen some 2nd hand on frankonia dont know how much they would end up costing if you got a dealer to get you one

Do use American prices as a guide but add 10% and then say Euro and not dollars
Eg smith and wesson model 41 22lr semi auto @$1350 = €1400-€1600 here

Ruger MK I, II or III or Browning Buckmark are good .22lr pistols.

€500 should get you something in good nick s/H

€800 for these new I reckon

The little SIG is cheap and fun and pretty accurate for what it is.

The walther's have had many, many bad reviews on here.

ilike the sig mosquito but i read lots of bad revies about slides exploding off the gun ang multiple jams!has anyone got one here?if so whats it like to use?

Forget the Mosquito :eek: bag of ****e. Friend of mine has one and he's had nothing but trouble with it.

Don't forget there is the "list" too. Some Supers will only licence pistols on it.
