Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My Computer/TV screen flickers when I connect my USB Cable to my laptop

Basically I connect my laptop to my 1080P 40' Samsung via VGA, only picture but the sound comes through my amplifier and DAC. (PS Audio Digital Link III). I already have an external hard drive in which it is connected by USB but it is not flickering.

My setup is laptop > USB Cable > DAC > RCA Cables > Amplifier > Headphones.

I thought it could have been that I had no battery in my laptop, but I have connected the battery but it is still there. When I take the USB out of my DAC the flickering completely goes, but I have spend a fair amount on my sound system. The headphones aren't half the sound they are plugged straight into the laptop alone. The VGA going into the laptop can't be screwed in fully because the screws are against the laptop. The pins go in alright, could this be the source?
