Has anyone bought a stock from Boyds Gun Stocks in the US? http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/ I'm not looking for anything too fancy, its for a rifle that only gets occasional use. I'll be bedding the action myself. Just wondering about the overall quality/service from this supplier.

For what you pay for them they are a great job. Very similar to the stock Remington use like seen on John Galways rifle.

    Slightly darker colour.
    They are very comfortable.
They can be bought here off some Gundealers.

It's a time consuming job floating a barrel. but worth it in the end.

I got the cz 452 tacticool stock but my rifle is the cz453 model with the set trigger.
I took it to a local guy that does some gunsmithing and he had to remove some wood to allow for the trigger housing.
He done it while I was there and took about an hour. barrel channel was fully floated so didnt have to touch it.
It fits perfect now and you wouldnt know by looking at it that it was altered.
