Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jobseekers payments don't go on how many hours you work, it goes by the days. So, if you worked 2 hours a day for 4 days, you wouldn't be entitled to anything as you are only allowed to work a maximum of 3 days.

As you were already working 3 days per week I don't know if you would be able to claim, as you have not suffered a substancial loss of earnings, I think it is only when you go from 5/6 days down to 3 days but I could be wrong. Could you not go into your local Social Welfare Office and enquire?

If you have been working full-time and your employer reduces your number of days you may be able to make a claim for an unemployment payment, But as your usual employment is 3 days and there is no actual loss of days, just a loss of hours, more than lieky you will not qualify, usualy you would need both to qualify, you could just go in and try to get it but you may be turned down as they may not consider it a substantial loss of employment.... the worst they can say is NO
