Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,551 ✭✭✭Rubecula

I would love to Ramette but I spent the day on the beach getting cooled down by a sea breeze and a stroll in the sea (just the shallow bit)

Try that yourself and forget getting hosed. Get yer bikini on. :)

You are absolutely right Chuck, Sally it was. Damn, another senior moment, shhhhh, maybe no one noticed. But I do know that Sally ended up in a little cafe in France during the war ('Allo 'Allo). So who the heck was Rosie O'Grady then? I do remember that she was 'sweet' wasn't she?

No Mods around - we could run riot, but as it's tea-time here, I'm off to pop the kettle on. Tea or coffee anyone? Milk or sugar?

OK! I put in an 9 hour day with an hour of breaks. It's about 7 miles from here and about 3 miles from the builder's providers/Town. The squirrels/chipmunks had created havoc with the existing fibre glass insulation so I'm re installing, then putting in the wiring before battening out for the plasterboards. But today is a holiday - Memorial Day. Will post pics of the Lobster Pot overflowing (last Saturday). Glad to read that ye are having a heatwave. Jeepers, can't believe I just said that. Maybe a touch of sunstroke. Shame about those two demented fruitcakes from Luton ......... they probably would have got there if it was purely athletics. Roll on next year ........ Chucken can be our MC in OSLO.

Must say that sun has played havoc with my neuro-centre wiring. What I meant to say was deluded fruitcakes from Lucan.

Anyway, another year to wait. The first Eurovision that I watched was the one that Giglioni Cinquetti won. As far as I know Butch Moore (RIP) sang in it as well.
