See the zelda design dock is very similar and WW/TP was a bit poo-poo'ed for being similar to OoT, I've no doubt SS will be similar to those again; so i personally wouldn't play a zelda game so close to a new one. Ya might get a bit snippy about it 20 hours in! Small kid from a village sets off on a quest, after a bit gets the master sword, does a dungeon based on fire, ice, water etc, heads to death mountain, ends up with the 3 characters. There's nothing wrong with the formula, (Zelda's my favourite franchise) but it is getting long in the tooth!

formula is getting a bit old, but it is still also my favorite games to play. cannot wait to play it !!

I agree with someone there that said WW doesnt get enough recognision and i put that down to the art style the story is 10 out of 10 but ive always though the art wasnt everyones cup of tea.

someone also said that SS is probably going to be the same formula as the rest which is probably right to a certain extent but look at this new trailer for the opening scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc-DoYLeuLo

I really hope gannondorf/ganon isnt in it and i dont think he is with the new guy ghirahim. hopefully not a zant clone!!!!

finally for the majoras mask lovers there is a petition to bring MM to the 3ds because bascially one of the developers anouma said if the fans make enough noise it will be. go here for this. http://operation-moonfall.org/
also there is a facebook page for it .

COME ON ZELDA FANS MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gamestop have added it to their site today as well for € 58.97.

Probably best place if you want it on release date. Still no word on if gamesnash are going to have the Limited Edition.

What's the price difference between buying the special edition and buying the normal edition and a motion+ remote? I only have ordinary remotes that the Wii launched with.

buying the normal edition from €45.99 for wii games

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Bundle edition would be around €64.99

for example goldeneye WII on its own was from €45.99 from most stores

goldeneye WII with Golden classic controller pro was
    €64.99

Just in case anyone's interested, Official Nintendo Magazine UK rated the game
    98%
saying it's the best Zelda game ever made.

A Link to the Pa- I mean article. :pac:

Looking forward to seeing some more reviews. Looking good so far, but i wouldnt be too trusting of Edge or ONM. Edge can be odd in their scores at times, and ONM will obviously be slightly biased. Still though...optimistic.

Have it ordered on gamestop. Might be a silly question (i didnt actually place the order myself), but does this mean it will be delivered on the 18th?

If you paid for express shipping, yes, or before then.
If you just went regular post, then... maybe, maybe not.

I'm in the exact same boat..

As far as I can see, Smyths have the special edition for €60 as well (listed on their website). Will pick it up from there.

Orizio, if you mean pre order with gamestop express delivery then you might get it a day earlier but other then that, walking into the store and buying it is the fastest way! :)
