Is it ok to have a beer at 2.30pm?

I have a few bottles in the fridge and I just opened one without even thinking. I looked at the time and it's only 2.30. Am I an alco? Or is this normal. Do ye drink beer during the day?

I do it occasionally when not working. Why not?
No point in busting a gut working all the time if you can't chill out once in a while.

If you buy some fancy hard to get ales or other stuff like that it's fine, necking 6 cans of tuborg at 2pm unless out on a field chilling with some mates I don't think would be all that cool

Why woudl it be? It's not like you just woke up and your first thought was more alcohol. It's not like you're in work (I hope :P) and you're drinking.

Besides, there are plenty of people who work odd hours and 2pm to them might be 9pm to other people. Drink when you like.

WTF? its not compulsory to keep drinking once you start!

It almost appears to be in the constitution that once begun, the practice of imbibing alcohol must continue until either:
1) All the booze is gone
2) You pass out / puke / get in a fight / get arrested

De-stressing, the sun shining on your face while residing in a beer garden or home garden listening to light talk while just once in a while just taking a breath inwards and appreciating life - and acknowledging how lucky one is sometimes while holding a beer.
