Seemingly if we listen to you, attacking your wife with a knife ("allegedly"), engaging in an 18 month bender thus losing your multi-million dollar job, physically falling apart (look at his weight loss, his saggy neck and clearly ill face) and making increasingly bizarre public statements are not indicative of losing the plot.

He is clearly troubled. It is beyond ridiculous to argue otherwise. Producing quotes from the deluded man himself will not change that.

I like him too, bad publicity id good publicity. I never saw myself watching the likes of Two and a half men, my comedies were always the likes of Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, The Office, but I started watching Two and a half men and quite like it. The man is suffering from addiction also, and I know all about this being a recovering alcoholic myself...it is an extremely hard life and a million more times worse when you are in the public eye.

You've already replied that him being in rehab is something "we all know". What's the point in posting a link to it. Going to rehab numerous times is a sign of somebody having mental issues.

I'm not writing a thesis or an academic essay. So I'm not going to support every single sentence I say with a reference from a reliable source.

someone has told me that in one of his latest videos he's rambling incoherently and scratching at his face. and that after the news of him being fired came out he was standing on top of some building waving a machete around. not sure if that's true though.

I can think of a couple of reasons:
- his brother,
- his father,
Both were here in Dublin the weekend the scandal broke, so they weren't around to kick some sense in to him. I saw Martin Sheen at UCD and he was keeping a lid on it, but I would not want to go up against him in Presidential mode. :eek:
